Privacy Policy
Pre-launch draft. VoidCraft has not published a game yet. The details still shown in [BRACKETS] below — our registered company details and specific retention periods — are being finalised ahead of our first store submission, and this page will be updated when they are. Questions in the meantime: support [at] voidcraftai [dot] com.

1. Who we are
VoidCraft ("VoidCraft", "we", "us") develops and publishes mobile games for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information our games, our website and our support channels collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
For privacy purposes the data controller is VoidCraft, [REGISTERED LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. You can reach us at support [at] voidcraftai [dot] com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to every VoidCraft mobile game, to voidcraftai.com and voidcraftai.games, and to any support correspondence with us. It does not cover the app stores themselves (Apple's App Store and Google Play have their own policies), or any third-party site a link in our games might take you to.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Support correspondence. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message.
- Optional profile details. If a game offers a nickname, avatar or leaderboard entry, we store what you choose to enter. Please do not use your real name.
3.2 Information collected automatically when you play
- Device and app identifiers — a per-app or per-device identifier (for example Apple's Identifier for Vendors, Google's Advertising ID, or an identifier our analytics provider generates), and the app version and build number.
- Device and environment data — device model, operating system version, screen size, language, time zone, coarse region derived from your IP address, and network type.
- Gameplay analytics — session start and end, levels started, completed, failed and replayed, progression milestones, in-game settings, feature usage, and similar events used to balance and improve the game.
- Crash and performance diagnostics — crash reports, error logs, frame rate and load-time measurements, and the device state at the time of a crash.
- Purchase events — that a purchase happened, which item, when, and the store transaction identifier.
- Advertising data — if a game shows ads, the ad network receives the data described in section 6.
3.3 What we do not collect
We do not ask for your real name, postal address, phone number, date of birth, precise (GPS) location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access. Payment card details are handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see them.
4. How we use information
- To run the game and save your progress.
- To find and fix crashes, bugs and performance problems.
- To understand how the game is played so we can balance difficulty, design new content, and decide what to build next.
- To deliver and measure advertising, where a game shows ads.
- To detect cheating, abuse, fraudulent purchases and automated traffic.
- To answer your support messages.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles beyond what the ad networks described in section 6 do, and we do not sell personal information for money.
If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland: our legal bases are performance of a contract (running the game you asked for), our legitimate interests (keeping the game working, improving it, and preventing abuse), your consent (advertising and tracking, where consent is required, which you can withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. Third-party services in our games
Like most mobile games, ours include software development kits (SDKs) from other companies. Each one receives some of the data in section 3 and processes it under its own privacy policy. We use, or expect to use, services in these categories:
- Analytics — measuring sessions, progression and feature usage.
- Crash and performance reporting — capturing crashes and errors so we can fix them.
- Advertising and mediation — selecting and showing ads, and measuring whether they were seen or clicked.
- Attribution and measurement — working out which marketing campaign a new player came from, usually through a privacy-preserving framework provided by Apple or Google.
- Cloud hosting and storage — running our back-end services and storing saved games where a game offers cloud saves.
- Customer support — handling your email to us.
[PLACEHOLDER: name the specific providers used in the shipped build, with a link to each provider's privacy policy, and keep the list current.] Each game's app store listing also carries a data disclosure (Apple's "App Privacy" labels and Google Play's "Data safety" form) describing the same collection for that specific title.
6. Advertising and your choices
Where a game is supported by advertising, ad networks may receive your advertising identifier, IP address, device information and basic ad-interaction events in order to select an ad and measure it. You control this:
- iOS — apps must ask before tracking you across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, the identifier is not shared for tracking. You can change your answer in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android — you can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalisation, in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Declining tracking does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant. Where a game offers a paid option to remove ads, that option is stated in the game.
7. Sharing and disclosure
We share information only in these situations:
- With service providers — the categories in section 5, acting on our instructions.
- With app stores and payment processors — Apple and Google, for purchases, subscriptions and refunds.
- For legal reasons — where we must comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of players or the studio.
- In a business transfer — if VoidCraft or a game is acquired or merged, information may transfer with it, subject to this policy.
8. Children's privacy
Our games are made to be family-friendly in tone, but unless a specific game's store listing says otherwise, they are not directed to children under 13 (or under the equivalent age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email support [at] voidcraftai [dot] com and we will delete it promptly.
9. How long we keep information
- Gameplay analytics — kept in identifiable form only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, then deleted or aggregated so it no longer identifies a device. A specific maximum retention period has not yet been set and will be published here before store submission.
- Crash reports — retention period not yet finalised; will be published here before store submission.
- Saved games and account data — for as long as the account is active, and deleted on request.
- Support emails — retention period not yet finalised; will be published here before store submission.
- Purchase records — as long as tax and accounting law requires.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access control, and vendors who commit to comparable standards — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where information leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on an approved transfer mechanism, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, withdraw consent, receive it in a portable format, and complain to your data protection authority.
California residents may also request disclosure of the categories of personal information collected and disclosed, request deletion or correction, and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising — which, for our games, is done through the device controls in section 6. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
To exercise any of these rights, email support [at] voidcraftai [dot] com and tell us which game and which device you played on, so we can find the right records. We will not treat you differently for asking.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our games or providers change. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the game or on our website before they take effect.
